  •  GIS Technician ($53,373 to $88,691)
    • Job summary: Under supervision of the GIS Coordinator, this position is responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of the GIS database, performing field data collection as needed, and other assignments within area of assigned responsibility. Applicant should be proficient in the ArcGIS products suite and hold a Certificate or Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in GIS or related field from four-year college or university. If currently enrolled in B.S. program, completion of introductory GIS courses is required.
  • Water Manager ($92,000 to $160,000)
    • Job summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Water System Manager to join Madison Utilities in Madison, AL, US. As Water System Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and reliable treatment and delivery of water to our customers, while ensuring compliance with government regulations. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies for water system management, monitoring of the water system, and responding to customer inquiries. You will lead a team of water system personnel and design, plan, and implement water system improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of water systems operations and maintenance, is a strategic thinker and problem solver, and is an excellent communicator.  This is a great opportunity to join a reputable utility in a role that offers plenty of room for professional growth.
  • AMR-AMI Specialist ($59,200 to $98,300)
    • Job summary: Under the general supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the employee provides in-depth and highly technical support for the automated metering reading and infrastructure (AMR/AMI). Overall responsibility for the maintenance/repair of MU’s AMR/AMI systems and infrastructure.
  • TVI Truck Operator ($49,900 to $84,400)
    • Job summary: Under the direct supervision of a Crew Leader, the employee primarily performs internal inspection of wastewater mains and services along with other duties of Utility Worker II.
